Standard hire is 1 or 2 weeks, included in the price. Need longer? You can extend by an extra week at a time when you book - just select the hire period that suits you.
If the skip is going on your driveway or any private land, no permit is needed. If it has to go on a public road, pavement or grass verge, you'll need a skip permit from the council that owns the road. Fees vary by Kent council (roughly £35–£45) and processing takes around 5 working days. We handle the application for you - select the road permit option at checkout and allow at least 5 working days before your delivery date.
A standard 8-yard skip is roughly the size of a small car. Make sure there's about 3 metres of clear width for the lorry to drop it safely.
Yes, up to 5% of the skip's total contents, and it needs to be bagged separately. If you've got a lot of plasterboard, give us a call and we can advise on the best option.
