Types of Wood Waste We Accept
We recycle wood waste by grade: Grade A is clean wood and Grade C is “dirty” wood. Clean wood includes pallets, hardwood and packing cases, while dirty wood includes plywood, floorboards and laminate flooring.
We recycle the wood we collect into shredded products that supply the panel board and green energy markets.

Every site generates wood waste at a different rate, so we match the container to your volumes. Unsure which suits you? Our team will advise the most cost-effective set-up for commercial wood waste collection wherever you operate.
For everyday wood waste, our wheeled bins come in 240, 360, 660 and 1100 litre sizes, a space-saving option for joinery workshops and smaller sites on regular wood waste collection.
When volumes are large and bulky, roll-on roll-off (RoRo) containers handle the load. They suit construction firms and sites clearing pallets, offcuts and demolition timber through high-volume wood waste collection.
Emptied by our rear-loading vehicles, Rear End Loaders are larger steel containers built for higher, regular volumes. A dependable choice for commercial wood waste removal on scheduled collections.

Wood Recycling FAQs
Yes. At our Ridham wood recycling facility we process a variety of mixed wood, including clean (Grade A) wood and dirty (Grade C) wood, and turn it into shredded products for the panel board and green energy markets.
We accept pallets, untreated wood, flat-pack furniture, MDF, chipboard, plywood, scaffold board, laminate flooring, floorboards, and wooden doors and window frames.
We cannot accept treated wood, railway sleepers or telegraph poles. If you have these, ask us about our specialist waste solutions.
Your wood is sorted and graded at our Ridham facility, shredded, and supplied to the panel board and green energy markets.
