The Glass Journey

From busy pubs and restaurants to retailers and events venues, glass adds up fast.

Our commercial glass recycling gives Kent and South East businesses a simple, compliant way to keep bottles and jars out of general waste.

Why Recycle Glass Waste?

Good for the planet, your business, and your budget

Recycling glass has multiple benefits for both the environment and your business. By recycling glass, we help to conserve natural resources and save significant energy that would be used in the manufacturing of new glass. It also ensures you remain compliant with new and existing legislation, helps lower your disposal costs with the correct segregation and can boost your green credentials.

What can I put in my glass bin?

Our commercial glass recycling service is for container glass, the glass bottles and jars your business gets through every day. We accept them empty and in any colour, so there is no need to sort clear, green and brown glass yourself.

Waste types we do not accept

  • Hazardous & Clinical Waste

  • Sheet Glass

  • Pyrex & Crystal Glass

  • Broken Ceramics & Crockery

Glass Bins and Containers to Suit Your Site

Whatever volume of glass your business gets through, we’ll match you to the right bins and containers, so you only pay for the capacity you actually use. Not sure what fits? Our team will recommend the most cost-effective set-up for your glass waste collection.

Our wheeled, glass-only bins suit steady, everyday volumes. Ideal for offices, shops and smaller venues that need a tidy, space-saving glass bin collection.

For events venues, hotels and the largest sites, roll-on roll-off (RoRo) containers take serious volumes of glass, keeping bottles and jars clear with fewer interruptions to your day.

Rear End Loaders hold far more than a wheeled bin, making them a practical choice for pubs, bars and restaurants looking for high-volume commercial glass collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Don’y see your question? Call our sales team on 01233 554974.

We recycle container glass: glass bottles and jars in any colour, whether clear, green or brown. We cannot accept window glass, Pyrex, drinking glasses, ceramics, light bulbs or mirrors, as these are made differently and contaminate the process.

Your glass is collected in a glass-only vehicle and taken to a specialist facility, where it is crushed into cullet, sorted by colour and cleaned of contamination. It is then remelted to make new bottles and jars, and because glass recycles endlessly, the same material can be used again and again.

Yes. We supply a full range of glass bins and containers, from wheeled glass-only bins to bigger options such as roll-on roll-off containers for higher volumes. Our team can help recommend the right glass bin collection for your site.

Yes. Under the Simpler Recycling rules, businesses in England with 10 or more employees must separate glass and other dry recyclables from general waste. A dedicated commercial glass collection helps you stay compliant and gives you the paperwork to prove it.

We provide commercial glass recycling across Kent, London and the South East, including Canterbury, Dover, Ashford, Maidstone and Thanet, from our recycling hub at Ridham.

You will. We're a licensed waste carrier, so each business glass collection is documented with waste transfer notes and recycling certificates. And because every load is logged and tracked, you'll always have the traceability your records and ESG reporting need.
