Council Skip Permits
If your skip is going on a driveway or private land, no permit is needed. The rules only change if the skip needs to sit on a public road, pavement or verge.
We take care of the permit application for you. Select the road permit option when booking and we’ll handle the application with Kent County Council Highways on your behalf. The permit fee is £100 and covers a 2-week period. Allow at least 5 working days before your delivery date.

For a full clearance, most customers in Maidstone go for an 8-yard builders skip. It holds around 80 bin bags, which covers most properties. If you're only clearing one or two rooms, a 4-yard skip usually does the job. Worth sizing up to a 12-yard if you're clearing a larger Victorian terrace in Fant, Tovil or similar.
Yes. We cover the whole Maidstone borough, including Bearsted, Boxley, Loose, Allington, East Farleigh, Barming, Detling, Otham, Sandling, Harrietsham and Lenham. We need a minimum of two working days' notice for all deliveries.
Standard hire is 3 weeks. After that, extensions are available at £25 per week. If you're midway through a bigger project and need more time, just get in touch and we'll arrange it.
