Kent Cricket’s Schools Day Out

Over 1,600 school children joined us at the Spitfire Ground for the Countrystyle Recycling School's Day Out ‘24, organised by Kent Cricket!

The students cheered on Kent’s Men’s First XI against Lancashire and had a blast with games, skill challenges, an assault course, and speed gun fun.

Countrystyle had a wonderful time and was thrilled to promote the importance of respecting the environment by reducing, reusing, and recycling waste.

Annual Charity Sleepout

Countrystyle Recycling was thrilled to support Tonbridge School again this year with their Annual Charity Sleepout in aid of Porchlight (charity) a Kent-based charity supporting the most vulnerable on the county’s streets.

Students constructed shelters for the night out of cardboard and spent the following morning on a series of challenges designed to make them think about routes into homelessness and challenge their thinking behind cause and blame.

The event has raised more than £23,500 for Porchlight, helping to keep their vital services running.

Drawing Challenge 2024

During the social events and schools visits from March to June, Countrystyle Recycling has opened a competition for primary school children in years 3-4, to create a drawing promoting recycling in their area.

The children are invited to take home a drawing sheet containing some interesting facts about waste and submit their work online. The 10 winning drawings will be featured on one of our dustcarts for the whole community to admire!
