Countrystyle are pleased to announce our support and involvement in Pilgrims Hospices Treecycle campaign.

Pilgrims Hospices is calling all residents of Ashford and Tenterden to get involved with this year’s Treecycling campaign: the scheme provides Christmas tree collections from homes across the Ashford Borough Council area by a team of willing hospice volunteers. The trees are taken for recycling and re-used as wood chipping in parks and woodland areas.

You can register your tree any time from now until Midnight of Wednesday 6 January (Twelfth Night). Last year the average donation per tree was £10, though all donations are welcome. A donation of £10 could pay for a patient’s meals for the day, £20 could pay for a physiotherapy session to help someone stay as active as possible for as long as possible. register online here.

Pilgrims Hospices are also looking for volunteers to help with the collection of the Christmas trees. If would you like to get involved please call 01233 504111.
