It depends where the skip will sit. On a driveway or any private land, no permit is needed. If the skip has to go on a public road or pavement, you'll need a skip permit from Kent County Council Highways. The charge is £100 and it covers a 2-week period. We submit the application on your behalf - select the permit option when booking and allow at least 5 working days before your delivery date.

Prices start at £190 for a 4-yard skip, £220 for a 6-yard, £250 for an 8-yard and £355 for a 12-yard. All prices exclude VAT and are effective from January 2026. Prices may be higher depending on your exact location, so get a quote to confirm your price.
