Swanley Skip Hire You Can Count On

Swanley is a busy west Kent commuter town sitting just off the M25 at Junction 3, which makes it one of the easier spots in the county for us to reach. It’s a mix of post-war estates, newer developments around White Oak, and older properties through Swanley Village and out towards Hextable – so the skip jobs we run here span everything from driveway-based kitchen rip-outs to loft conversions and garden landscaping. The M25 proximity also means a steady flow of trade customers working on commercial fit-outs and construction across the borough.

We cover the BR8 postcode and the wider area, including Hextable, Crockenhill, Swanley Village, Sutton-at-Hone, Farningham, Eynsford and White Oak.

Council Skip Permits

Dropping the skip on a driveway or any private land? No permit required. You only need one if the skip has to go on a public road, pavement or verge.

We’ll sort the permit application for you. Just pick the road permit option when you book and we’ll file it with Kent County Council Highways on your behalf. The fee is £100 and covers a 2-week period. Give us at least 5 working days’ notice before delivery – permits cannot be rushed through.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not if the skip is going on your own driveway or private land. If it needs to sit on a public road or pavement, you'll need a skip permit from Kent County Council Highways. The fee is £100 for a 2-week period and we'll handle the application for you - just choose the permit option when booking and give us at least 5 working days' notice before delivery.

Prices depend on your postcode and the skip size you pick. As a starting guide: a 4-yard skip from £190, 6-yard from £220, 8-yard from £250 and 12-yard from £355. All prices exclude VAT and are effective from January 2026. Prices may be higher depending on your exact location within the Swanley area, so get a quote to lock in your figure.

For a full clearance, most Swanley customers go for an 8-yard builders skip. It takes roughly 80 bin bags - enough for the contents of most homes. If you're only doing one or two rooms, a 4-yard usually covers it. For larger detached properties around Swanley Village or Hextable, it's often worth stepping up to a 12-yard so you don't end up booking a second delivery.

Yes. We cover the whole Swanley area, including Hextable, Crockenhill, Swanley Village, Sutton-at-Hone, Farningham, Eynsford and White Oak. We need a minimum of two working days' notice for all deliveries. Drop us a line to confirm availability for your postcode.

Standard hire is 1-2 weeks. After that, extensions are £50 per week. If you're mid-project and need a bit more time, just give us a call and we'll get it sorted.
