Countrystyle are proud to support the KM Charity Team and the Walking Bus. Rapidly growing across Kent primary school, the initiative positively promoting green travel
The official launch At Langton Green Primary School took place this week, awarding the 21 pupils who now use the bus, with Ellie Ryan (Coordinator), Karen Brinkman (KM Charity Team) and Countrystyle’s Marketing Executive, Emily in attendance.
Pupils using the new walking bus received certificates, rubbers, and vouchers for Planet Ice skating rink and Leeds Castle during a special assembly.
Simon Dolby, chief executive of the KM Charity Team, said he was thrilled the walking bus got off to a good start, commenting:
“Walking buses are such a safe, healthy, and eco-friendly way to tackle congestion at the school gate – and encourage pupils to get active, and be alert and ready for the day ahead”.
