Waste Streams
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
Transforming non-recyclable commercial waste into a sustainable fuel alternative for energy.
An alternative, sustainable solution for non-recyclable waste
0 k+
Tonnes of RDF per annum to enfinium – Kemsley’s Energy from Waste Plant.
0 k+
Tonnes per annum to European EfW Combined Heat and Power Plants.
Why Recycle Your RDF?
From waste reduction to social value, we embed sustainability into our operations, infrastructure, and partnerships.
1
Waste comes into our sorting facility
C&I waste is received at our Ridham Dock Facility where it is screened and sorted.
2
Sorting and Shredding
Any waste that is deemed non-combustible or recyclable is removed. The remaining waste is shredded.
3
Bale and Wrap
4
Transportation
The bales are assessed to meet strict parameters. Once ready, they are taken to be turned into energy.
5
Reuse
Any loose RDF that does not get baled is also transferred to a heat to energy plant.
What is RDF?
A sustainable fuel from non-recyclable waste.
RDF is a fuel that is created by processing non-recyclable waste. By transporting it to specialist Energy from Waste (EFW) facilities, it can generate heat and power instead of going to landfill.
The Environmental Advantage
Creating sustainable energy from waste.
RDF is a constant energy source that allows us to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels whilst helping us cut greenhouse gas emissions. Countrystyle supplies fully compliant EFW facilities across the UK and Europe.
Lower Your Waste Costs
Cut disposal expenses and turn waste into value.
Reduce landfill fees and avoid rising disposal taxes by converting non-recyclable waste into RDF. This smart solution lowers costs, supports sustainability, and helps your business meet environmental goals without compromising efficiency.
