Skips placed on a driveway or any private land don’t need a permit. A permit is only required if the skip has to sit on a public road, pavement or verge.
We’ll handle the permit application for you. Pick the road permit option when you book and we’ll apply to Kent County Council Highways on your behalf. The fee is £100 and covers a 2-week window. Please allow at least 5 working days before delivery – permit applications can’t be rushed through.

A 4-yard skip usually does the trick.
