Paddock Wood Skip Hire You Can Count On

Paddock Wood is a growing commuter town with a steady demand for skip hire. New-build estates on the edge of town, older properties along Maidstone Road and Commercial Road, and the ongoing residential expansion across the area all generate regular clearance and construction waste. Whether you’re fitting a new kitchen in one of the newer developments or clearing a garden on the outskirts, we’ve got a skip to match.

We cover all Paddock Wood postcodes within TN12. We also serve the surrounding areas, including Five Oak Green, Capel, Matfield, Brenchley, Horsmonden, Beltring, East Peckham and Collier Street.

Council Skip Permits

Placing a skip on your own driveway or private land doesn’t require a permit. A permit is only necessary when the skip will sit on a public road, pavement or verge.

We handle the full permit application on your behalf. When booking, choose the road permit option and we’ll submit the application to Kent County Council Highways. The fee is £100 for a 2-week permit period. Make sure you allow a minimum of 5 working days ahead of your delivery date – the council cannot fast-track applications.

Permit pricing is subject to change. Confirm the current rate at the time of booking.

An 8-yard builder's skip is the most popular choice for a full house clearance - it holds roughly 80 bin bags and handles most properties comfortably. If you're clearing just a room or two, a 4-yard skip should be plenty. For larger clearances, particularly if you're tackling one of the newer detached properties on the expanding estates around Paddock Wood, it's worth stepping up to a 12-yard to avoid needing a second delivery.
