To ensure our continued commitment to a quality service for trade waste customers as part of Countrystyle’s Fleet Replacement Programme and as part of growth plans, the Company takes delivery of three new Mercedes Arocs dustcarts in May 2015 with a further six deliveries scheduled between August and September 2015. This takes Countrystyle’s trade waste fleet to 19 and its total fleet of all vehicles to 100.
The new Mercedes dustcarts will provide additional flexibility to trade waste rounds operating in the Ashford and Margate areas in Kent and will enable expansion of Countrystyle’s collection services in areas centred on Croydon, Bromley, Epsom and Redhill
The new trade vehicles boast a number of features that improve efficiency and reduce the Company’s carbon footprint. The Mercedes dustcarts come with a light-weight chassis which along with the new Euro 6 engine reduces fuel consumption. The vehicles also come with a new Fleetboard Eco Support system which offers the driver tips on their driving to improve vehicle efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
