The Anaerobic Digestion Process
A controlled, biological process for maximum value
Once we have collected your food waste, we deliver it to an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant to create biogas for energy and a premium, PAS100 Certified bio-fertiliser. To create these products, the food waste is broken down by microorganisms in an oxygen-free environment. This process releases biogas that is captured within the process and the leftover solids are also utilised so nothing gets wasted.
