Investment in RDF Processing line

Countrystyle has installed an electric Metso 4000s Static Shredder to the front end of its RDF processing line; the new shredder equipped with an over-band magnetic provides improved operating and increased throughput. We are now able to produce 350 bales per day, each weighing approx. 1.5 tonnes.

40 tonnes of metal per week is now being extracted, further improving recycling rates from Countrystyle’s residual trade waste. Countrystyle has also enhanced its network of RDF off-take providers across Northern Europe to seven outlets; the RDF bales are exported by road and used in combined heat and power plants producing electricity and heat for district heating schemes.
