Decommission of Paper Lines
The Approach
Kimberly-Clark has been a valued customer for over 15 years. At their Northfleet site, we deliver a bespoke, total waste management solution covering multiple waste streams, including a specialist service that requires weekend monitoring.
In 2021, Kimberly-Clark asked us to support the decommissioning of two paper lines as part of a site restructure. This project aimed to boost output by around 20% and create additional space for future operations.
The work was delivered in two phases, in April and September 2021. Thanks to our long-standing relationship and ongoing presence on site, Countrystyle was ideally placed to manage waste segregation and maximise rebate opportunities throughout the project.
Project Management
As part of Kimberly-Clark’s Major Projects Strategy, Countrystyle provided Total Project Waste Management across both phases. This included:

Supplying multiple bins for different waste types to ensure proper material segregation.

Delivering accurate reporting on all materials collected and disposed of.

Maintaining consistent communication through our dedicated Key Accounts Team.

Working closely with contractors to align with the decommissioning schedule, often being available 24/7 to keep everything on track and meet deadlines.
