Role Information:

Countrystyle Recycling is a dynamic, privately owned Waste Management and Recycling Company. We collect, handle, process, dispose and recycle almost all forms of waste. Our main facility, at Ridham in Sittingbourne, Kent provides specialist services for the recycling of plasterboard, wood, mixed dry recyclables and the manufacture of RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel).

We are currently recruiting for a Storeman to join our growing business and support our busy Workshop team on a full time basis.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the safe receipt of all incoming stock, ensuring it isn’t damaged, the quantity is correct and the quality of the goods is as expected. You will be responsible for keeping accurate records of all materials, equipment and parts ordered, and ensuring that all spares are booked against a department, vehicle or item of plant on the electronic PPM system.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, with a ‘can do’ attitude, and has the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will need a basic level of literacy and numeracy. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and of stock audits, ordering new materials, maintaining stock and using a computer-based stock control system.

An HGV licence and Forklift licence would be advantageous.

Hours:

48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.

Salary:

£10.00 per hour
