Role Information:

Countrystyle Recycling Ltd is a successful business within the Heathcote Holdings group of companies, working with both commercial and local authority customers, providing a broad range of Waste Management solutions. We have the opportunity for a Bid Writer to support the business functions in delivering sustainable development of the business supply-chains of resource recovery.

The Bid Writer works as part of a team providing a dedicated and specialised knowledge base, with professional writing skills.

Duties/responsibilities

  • To be the first point of contact for the bid opportunity mail boxes, all key customers and authorities ensuring customer satisfaction, efficient service provision and presentation of a professional Countrystyle image.
  • Own PQQs and ITTs to create compelling proposals across the business and accountable key Bid Managers to maintain and grow the business volumes and sustainability.
  • Acting as a key stakeholder to the project team for each tender.
  • Ensuring business unit owners have full documentation for their accountable tender opportunities, including but not limited to specifications, financial models and evaluation criteria to enable them to manage their Bid Management accountability.
  • Utilising pre-collected information and turning it into a value proposition.
  • Working with subject matter experts to align Countrystyle’s capability and solutions to the customers requirement.
  • Ensure content is customer focused and aligned to the published evaluation criteria and defined strategic themes.
  • Document template management in line with company branding.
  • Research and develop projects for potential new contracts to meet the business sustainability goals.
  • Build solid relationships with new and existing customers through regular direct and indirect contact.
  • To maintain all sales, contracts, reporting and related administration systems used including tracker portals.
  • To collate information for senior management to plan strategic growth through procurement and acquisition.

If you have previous experience of completing tenders, particularly within the waste management sector, are resilient, self-motivated and able to work under pressure then we would love to hear from you.

You will need to be IT literate to intermediate level in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Teams with the ability to produce reports and management data as required.

Hours:

40 hours per week

Salary:

£40-£45K per annum, depending upon experience
