Banksman (Level 4)

Role Information: 

Countrystyle Recycling is a leading Kent based, privately owned Waste Management and Recycling Company. We collect, handle, process, dispose and recycle almost all forms of waste. Our main facility, at Ridham in Sittingbourne, Kent, provides specialist services for the recycling of plasterboard, wood, mixed dry recyclables and the manufacture of RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel).

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Banksman who will be responsible for directing the movement and loading/unloading of vehicles and directing the movement of mobile plant. The main aim of this role is to ultimately ensure the vehicle movements on site are safe and carefully monitored.

Essential skills required:

  • Traffic Marshall Certificate, Banksman Certificate or CPCS Card
  • Effective communication skills
  • An understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • The ability to multi-task and work on your own iniative.

Hours: 

Full time, 44 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis between 6am and 6pm, including bank/public holidays.

Salary: 

£9.29 per hour
